About

My name is Grace and I am a seamstress in my twenties based in North London. The first quilt I ever owned was hand-sewn by my mother whilst she was pregnant with me, a tradition that started with my three older siblings, and one I hopefully plan to continue with my future family one day.

In the manic world of London I find such pleasure in slowing down my life to make these intricate time consuming pieces. All my quilts are hand quilted by me at my kitchen table. A process that takes hours and hours but is invaluable in making these quilts so special.

In a world where speed and convenience are valued so highly these sorts of old fashioned techniques are becoming harder and harder to find. I hope that my quilts can help keep these types of heirloom gifts and traditions alive.
